This Industrial Wireless WAN VPN is a professional and rugged 3G / GPRS cellular router that provides secure high speed wireless connectivity to remote LANs and individual Ethernet devices. It is ideal for use where wired networks, such as leased lines, ISDN or DSL are not feasible, or where an additional fail-over WAN link is required.

This 3G WAN VPN has 1 x RS-232 serial ports for connecting legacy COM devices and a built-in port 10/100 Ethernet switch for connecting TCP/IP network devices. We can provide SIM cards for use in the Connectport WAN VPN that will provide a static, public (internet) IP address. This means your attached devices can be accessed from an internet facing PC anywhere in the world.

For applications requiring secure connections, 3g WAN VPN provides an integrated IPsec VPN client / server for true end to end data protection. The WAN VPN has unique 'SureLink' technology providing a reliable always-on connection. This capability sets the unit aside from many low cost alternatives that often drop the network connection causing real headaches for system managers.

This range of Cellular routers now have E1 approval making them suitable for use in trains, trucks, busses and cars.
